What a great way to start out my day. I passed this wonderfulness on the way to the U of M this morning. This was taken at 7:10am, I love it that people are so excited so early in the morning.

Tomorrow is going to be an amazing day. I received a call last night from Camp Obama requesting that I bring a couple of folding chairs with me to the polls so the older community members would not be discouraged by the long lines. She made me promise. So, it looks like I will be bringing a few chairs with me.
Please please please vote, regardless of the candidate. Obv, I think my candidate is the better choice, but I am making great attempts to respect everyone’s choice. That’s what is so great, we have a choice. Isn’t that awesome, not every nation has that. Seriously, show me what democracy looks like. Plus, you get a really cool red sticker that says “I voted.” It would be pretty embarrassing to not have one of those tomorrow.
And what is super cool, is that one of my employers, ( yes, another great thing about the U.S. is that sometimes you have to work two or three jobs to live the dream) is giving me paid time off to leave work early to vote. I am not telling them that the law states you only have to let employees vote before noon. I can’t be everything to everyone 🙂
